Meet Nicole…
As a dog trainer, Nicole’s mission is to bring out the best in each dog, helping them become well-mannered, confident, and happy companions while nurturing a deep bond with their human families. Her journey into the world of dog training began with a profound love for dogs and an interest in training her family dogs from a young age. She lives with her husband Troy, her two boys Erik and Ryan, and of course Mya the golden and Tucker the cat! Over the years, She has honed her skills, earning certifications in positive reinforcement training methods and gaining valuable experience in working with a diverse range of dogs. She has immersed herself in the dog training community and has created good relationships with fellow dog trainers which facilitates collaboration on training ideas and techniques.
Her philosophy of dog training is rooted in the belief that every dog is unique, and the key to successful training lies in meeting the individual needs and personality of each dog, making the learning process enjoyable and effective. She approaches training with patience, a sense of humor, and a commitment to creating a supportive and fun learning environment. Positive reinforcement is at the core of her training methodology; however, this can also include giving our dogs boundaries and structure in their environments.
She sees dog training as a two-way street, where both the dog and the family play vital roles in the process. Her goal is to empower pet guardians with the knowledge and skills they need to foster a strong, loving, and cooperative relationship so they can reach their full potential. It's not just about teaching commands; it's about helping dogs and their owners communicate effectively and build trust in their relationship.
She continues to learn and improve on a variety of theories and methodologies attending seminars and workshops with renowned trainers on a regular basis. A lifelong lover of dogs, she’s worked hard to follow her passion, training and caring for dogs on a full-time basis.
