Puppy PLAYGROUP and Socialization

Have you recently gotten a puppy that's bouncing off the walls with energy? Are you looking for a way to get your pup some socialization?

Come out for some structured playtime and socialization with people, puppies and environmental objects. If you want your puppy to learn great play skills and if you want to learn how and when to intervene, then the Puppy Club is for you! We aim to provide an outlet for positive play experiences for your pup in addition to educating puppy guardians so that they can get the most out of their pup's socialization. Learn FUN ways to build your puppy’s confidence by exposing him/her to new challenges and engaging him/her in NEW activities. The groups are structured in that play will be interrupted for breaks and inappropriate play. The time you put in today will help build a confident dog tomorrow.

Why is Puppy Socialization so important?

  • Behavioral Development - puppies form positive associations more easily than adolescents.

  • Reducing Fear and Anxiety – Proper exposure using positive reinforcement to various

stimuli, people, and environments helps puppies become familiar with the world around them.

  • Positive Human Interaction - Socializing puppies with different people, including children, adults, and strangers,

helps them become comfortable with human interactions.

  • Canine Social Skills - Puppies learn important communication signals, play behaviors,

and body language that are essential for positive interactions with other dogs throughout their lives.

  • Environmental Exposure - Introducing puppies to a variety of environments, sounds, textures, and

surfaces helps them adapt to different situations.

  • Enhancing Training Success - Socialized puppies tend to be more receptive to training.

  • Building Trust - Positive experiences during socialization help build trust between the puppy and their owner.
