Hoopers is a fun and safe sport for dogs of all ages. The dogs learn to navigate sequences consisting of hoops, barrels, short tunnels, and gates. The sequences are low impact (no jumping) and flow with no sharp twists or turns. In general, the handler doesn’t move with the dog through the sequence, but rather directs the dog from a designated central location.

This course includes:

• an introduction to hoops, barrels and a tunnel

• an introduction to target training

• wait and release games short, easy sequences

**Please note dogs that are very reactive (barking continuously and unable to settle) to other dogs or people may not be a good fit for the class. When dogs are stressed they do not learn well and it can be frustrating for the owner as well. If you feel this is your situation, we can talk and see what alternatives are available to you"**
